youth & children...

We think children and young people are a very important part of Church life and do our best to make them welcome.

There are a number of different ways we seek to do this. Here are some of them.

CHILDREN are very welcome at St John’s.  Activities to occupy toddlers and primary age children are available, although these are unsupervised, so we must ask you to keep an eye on your children.

The Parent and Toddler Group meets on Monday & Thursday mornings 9.15 – 11.30am upstairs in the Parish Centre on Wentworth Street.

Toddler Services are held once a month at 9.30am on a Thursday – please see the calendar on our home page.

St.John’s Pre-School meets every morning downstairs in the Parish Centre FOR MORE INFORMATION CLICK HERE.

    ST. JOHN’S SCHOOL

We are very proud of our Church Primary School, St.John’s, in     Belgravia Road. There are strong links between the School and the Church.

If you would like to know more about the school, please speak to Head Teacher on 01924 303715  (term-time only) or follow the link. click here

SCOUTS AND GUIDES meet in term time as follows:

In the Scout Hut, next to the Parish Centre on Wentworth Street:

ST JOHN’S  PRE SCHOOL

ST JOHN’S SCHOOL

St John’s J & I is a Church of England voluntary aided school, a distinction of which we are proud.
